Since someone has been on my ass about blogging.....

We're going to consider this a long overdue thank you to the powers that be and catalysts. Being a catalyst myself, I realize what an unappreciated and unacknowledged destiny it is. Currently in my life, things are wonderful. There are many changes going on in all of our lives, and when I stop and think about it, there is one person that a lot of this all boils down to. I met a woman 5 years ago, and while I am no longer in contact with her, through her I met many people that mean so much to me now.

I met Ann, who is like my sister. I don't know what I did without her.

I also met Paul and Angela, and ultimately through them Steve (the man I've fallen in love with) and Tasha. Tasha was an indirect thing. I took a class so I could be the art editor for a publication with Angela. Had it not been for that, I would not have taken philosophy(well that and Aviation not going through) and met Tasha. Perhaps Angela, you as well fall into the catalyst category. Especially when you consider the house concerts. A lot of meeting and connecting goes on around there.

It's always interesting to look back and see the connections, the threads of fate, that have woven us into our current tapestry. They aren't always apparent at the time, and sometimes the cosmic clue-by-fours escape our attention as well, but it's always a comfort to know that we are where we're supposed to be.

  • Hi Rebecca - Remember me? Denise from Alpena? I found your blog through Paul's blog, and I love reading your entries! The paczki one is especially cool, with all the photos! I'm going to show that one to my mom, who's 100% Polish. I help her with church bake sales every few months when we make about 30 dozen cinnamon rolls, so that's what it reminds me of (only we don't have to deep fry them, which is probably why you can't get the smell out of your hair!). I'll have to post some pictures of that for you to see. Take care fer now!
