On Saturday, May 27th, I was proposed to.
Steve woke up early that morning, and left to 'set things up'. He returned to the house around 11:30 and told me to grab my GPSr. I walked out onto the porch with him and he said this is the first stage. (FYI-Steve set up a mulit-cache for the proposal. For more info on Geocaching, go to www.geocaching.com) This led to several stages located at our local duck park, breakwall, beach, and then to Surf's Cafe, where he had a table reserved with a vase of roses and lunch waiting. From there we went to His brother and sister-in-law's where we first met. They have a labyrinth mowed into their back lawn, and the final coordinates led me there. After we walked to the center of the labyrinth, I had to look for one more item.. It was the ring box, with the final line to the lyrics that were at each stage. On the back, it said 'pick a hand'. I turned around and he had his hands behind his back. I chose the left and then he proposed. I'm now sporting a beautiful round brilliant cut solitaire on my left hand and counting down the days until my fiancé no longer lives four hours away.

Congratulations! I heard about this from Angela. How wonderful. I also really like the way you describe your love in the previous blog. You really have a way with words - quite poetic.
