My weekend project:

Yes...That is a dress made out of duct tape. And, yes, it is for Winterfest(homecoming). And, yes, she is on the court. Sara is totally my hero for wearing this, but she really owes me for making it. That's 100% tape. No fabric. It's not taped to her body either. Totally removable and reusable. Oh, and Angela....'Thanks'. This is all your fault. ;)

So, you think you're in pretty decent shape(Hey! Round is a shape) and then you go to the gym and do 10 minutes on the eliptical machine, 10 minutes in the treadmill, 10 minutes on the bike and a lap around the women's circut, and you realize that doing this three times a week is really going to suck. Not to mention the whole motion sickness on the treadmill. Inner ear says you're moving, walls say you're not....fun fun.

Edited for update: It must have been an off day. I can to 20 on the treadmill, 10 on eliptical, and 10 on the bike and not break a sweat.....I'll have to step it up a notch.

I just held a tarantula! There's one more thing to cross off my 'to do' list. One of our clients raises them and brought one in for me to see. I think they are so cute. She is 3 years old, and our client is determined that in 10 years she will be the world's largest tarantula. Right now she is about 3 inches in diameter. When full grown, she will be the size of a dinner plate. Just think...I can say 'I knew her when'...

Happy New Year! (A little belated) All went well for the holidays. I spent my New Years Eve (from 11 to 12:15) in the McDonald's Lobby. How cool am I? This entry feels a little disjointed, but then so do I, so please forgive this weird ramble.

In other news, we suspect that some form of rodent got into the coffee beans stored in the back porch(this is theory only, based on the scent off coffee in the back, not the fact that either of us actually checked). This stash was subsequently found by some squirrels(?) who have taken up residence above our kitchen ceiling(once again, theory, as the noises sounded bigger that mice - the main question being how they got up there especially since that's all insulated). So, the now hopped-up-on-coffee squirrels (which I'm dubbing Ziggy and Bob) are providing some entertainment to Alisha at 3 am. Of course, at this point, Alisha's the only one who has heard them, so who knows....Alisha....3am.....probably a whole lot of nothing. But, it will make for some fun installments of 'Ziggy and Bob - The Twitch Twins'.
