Another day, another dollar. Or in today's case, another $1,400 dollars. I can't believe how fast money just flows through my checkbook. But, the result of which, is my auto insurance is paid up until October, my wedding dress is paid in full and my flowers for the wedding are paid in full as well. Listen up all you single women. E-L-O-P-E. It's, what, $35 for you marriage license? That's a whole lot cheaper than what I'm forking out and I'm keeping it as cheap a possible. Hell, I'm not paying for my cake, my caterer, or my photographers(all three of 'em), and I'm only paying half price for the DJ, and I got a discount on my dress. My total will still be at lease $4,000 for this wedding. Just in case you missed it the first time....ELOPE.

Despite the fact that I've repeatedly stated that I no longer intend to do photos for weddings, I seem to have agreed to more this year than last. I have two weddings two weekends in a row in September. It's going to suck, but I need the money, and I know at least some of the people involved in both. Thank god most people don't get married in the winter. It gives us all time to recoup.

Ok...so I'm trying to stay on this blogging thing. This is twice in one week. We're off to a good start. Again.

Last night I had a dream that one of my uncles died. I reasoned it out in the shower that it was just my mind storing info. On Wednesday night my cousin and I watched a movie and she made a comment that one of the actors looked like this said uncle. And earlier this week my dad's uncle passed away. Explainable, right? So I get to work this morning and one of my co-workers wasn't in. I was told that she received a phone call last night, around midnight, saying that her uncle was dying and wasn't expected to make it through the night. So she spent the entire night there, and while this morning he was still holding on, she was tired from being up all night and took the day off. Coincidence? Weird cosmic-ness? Hmmmm.

I ordered the kilts last night for the wedding. Now, all I have left to do it order the flowers and pay the rest of my dress(which should be done in a week or so) and I can't rest until I have to print the invitations in May. Whew. Weddings are A LOT of work, and I'm trying to keep it simple.

Ok, so the link on the bottom of my emails was typed incorrectly, so all those people I thought were possibly reading this, haven't been. So now that it's correct, I suppose I should make a better effort to blog more often. That and Angela's constant nagging. ;) So on to the morning's miseries.

My truck wouldn't start this morning. And I couldn't get the hood open to jump it. GRRRR! So I had to call a co-worker to pick me up for work, my mother to pick me up for 'lunch with the ladies', and my father to fix my truck. This is yet another blow to my independence. ARGH. But, I'm dealing with it. I realize just how lucky I am to have people in my life who are there to catch me when I do fall. To those of you, I thank you. I may be grumpy and may not enthusiastically state it, but I am in your debt and I thank you.

And now the spell check won't work on here.....Does anyone else hate it when Mercury is in retrograde????
